The application periods for the different age groups are:

20 to 30 August 2024:  age groups:  6 / 7 / 8 and under

20 to 30 September 2024:  age groups:  9 / 10 / 11 / 12 and under

20 to 30 October 2024:  age groups: 13 / 14 and under

20 to 30 November 2024:  age groups: 15 and under

20 to 30 December 2024:  age group: 16 and under

20 to 30 January 2025: age group: open age

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

To be accepted into the competition, the contestant must submit:

• a fully completed entry form
  (including all required documents)
• a video recording with the complete program
  (see VIDEO RECORDING REQUIREMENTS for details)
• the application fee
  (see ENTRY FEE below for details)
• a scan of a passport or other official document
  confirming the date of birth is required for participation.
• Please upload a Photo (your choice)

VIDEO RECORDING REQUIREMENTS

• The recording should have a steady image, clarity, and good audio and visual quality. Provided these conditions are met, recordings made using a mobile phone are allowed.
• The instrument, hands and face of the performer must be clearly seen on the recording.
• Recordings can be up to a year old at the date of submission. Please specify date and place of recording.
• Copyrighted recordings (from other Competitions or Festivals) are not allowed.
• Works may be recorded separately (also on different days).
• Each work has to be recorded without cuts or interruptions.
• Live concert recordings are allowed.
• The recording should be uploaded to YouTube, with the link copied into the competition application form.
• The competition reserves the right to use the submitted recordings in any way it sees fit without remuneration to the competitor, including uploading the winning recordings to the competition YouTube channel or any other distribution. By participating in the competition, the competitor disowns the rights to the submitted recording.

• Contestants entering the Steps to Bach section, may play their works with the music.
• Contestants entering The Bach Pianist section, must play all works by memory.
